With the latest purchase of Autodesk’s AutoCAD Architectural Desktop (ADT) by Hollandsche Beton Groep nv, a European construction firm with worldwide projects, sales of the product have now reached an exceptional installed-base of 100,000 seats worldwide.

This milestone confirms a growing industry trend toward object-orientated modelling, which offers the potential for significant productivity gains not only for architects but also for contractors, building owners, and facilities managers.

A spokesperson for HBC commented “ADT is a robust and evolving platform that will assist us in our transition to 3D and 4D modelling. We are confident that we will gain significant process benefits with this solution.”
