Macromedia, Inc., the provider of solutions for compelling and effective Web sites, and MGI Software a market leader in e-commerce imaging and digital video, today announced an agreement to jointly market Web authoring solutions for e-commerce applications.

Under the agreement, Macromedia will be introducing their
customers to MGI's e-commerce imaging solutions by including a special MGI developers' kit in Macromedia Dreamweaver software and Macromedia Director
Shockwave Studio software. The kit includes introductory editions of MGI's ZOOM Server software, a powerful 3D-image object modeller, viewers for viewing immersive content, as well as its panorama technology, Photovista.

Using Macromedia Dreamweaver software and Macromedia Director Shockwave Studio software with MGI Software's e-commerce imaging technology will allow developers to create a more compelling and engaging Web experience.
MGI will be supplying and distributing extensions to the Dreamweaver software via the Macromedia Exchange to allow for easy insertion of ZOOM-enabled 2Dimages, 3D objects and 360-degree panoramas into Dreamweaver Web pages. MGI is also creating a custom Xtra for Director Shockwave Studio
that will initially allow ZOOM-enabled images to be inserted into Shockwave applications.

"Macromedia customers will benefit from MGI's ZOOM Server software and immersive imaging tools that are being integrated with our leading Web authoring solutions," said David Mendels, senior vice president, business development and corporate marketing, Macromedia. "Macromedia Dreamweaver and Shockwave content benefit from their open architectures that enable third parties to continually add new functionality to our products."
